Who are you?

Here we are 6 days into a New Year. How are you feeling about yourself and life in general?

This week alone, I have had several messages asking me “how” I do what I do. I have ruminated on the messages and felt I should dedicate my blog to the answers I gave to many people looking and seeking for answers this first week of 2017.

Is Work-Life Balance possible? Quite simply, yes.

It’s no different from any other decision you choose to make. You either want work-life balance or you don’t.

As a life coach who specializes in helping you find work-life balance, it’s a mere assessment of finding the imbalance and then we work from there. You have to make some tough decisions and for many people, it’s about boundary management aka, removing the drama from your life.

Saying no is not a bad thing. Work-life balance is protecting you and your time. There is no special magic potion, equation or tool needed. You, a positive mindset, a drive to achieve and a little bit of passion for getting there is all we need.

How do I do what I do? Loaded question.

Grit. Excitement. Craving. Success. Achievement. These are the words that come to my mind immediately.

I made a decision to be fit, fabulous and enter my 50’s with one hell of a bang! Done! A+ given!

Organization, need, desire and 100% grit helped me get there. What keeps me there? The knowledge, drive, intellect, thrill and overall feeling of being fit, fabulous and working out every day and playing soccer with women in their 20’s, 30’s and 40’s and holding my own. Why? Because I can.

Age is a number. I’m in the best shape of my life. I have work-life balance and I allow nothing or no one to interfere with my process of sustainment.

My passion continues to be helping other women and men find their balance and see the ‘aha’ moments of emotion and happiness when they get there.

I have great joy when I help businesses with their employees return to work and get off short term disability.

My challenge for you is to not set a New Year’s resolution. Make a decision to get off the couch and move your body every day.

Health is your greatest asset. Without it, you cannot do or be whom you want to be in this game called life.

Don’t worry about what other people say, do or think. It’s none of your business!

The hardest part is starting. I would love to hear what you decide and your start date!

As Nike says, “Just do it!”.

Make 2017 your best year yet!
