There’s Nothing Like a Good Reset

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]I woke up yesterday—Sunday morning. Usually, I think, write, edit, and then type my Hope Weekly article for Linked In. Yesterday as I was sipping my delicious coffee, I thought to myself, I don’t feel like writing today. I was 100% ok with the thought, emotion and decision to accept it all.

Let me recap last week. I FINALLY achieved a goal that I have had since 2011. I created my first online course entitled, “How to Master Self-Care.”

It was one of the toughest weeks of my life. I created the essential post-it note that you can literally hang on the wall, and it was full of my thoughts. A complete download of all my thoughts. My vision, my dream – a mind dump. Then the next phase of moving all those thoughts into a mind map with structure and ahem….discipline.

There were moments I wanted to give up.

There were moments where I thought, who wants to hear this, learn this?

There were moments where I questioned WHY I was even doing this.

Isn’t it interesting how our habits of thinking can interfere with our creative flow! I had to have a self-chat and coach myself through the week.

The most significant element of posting today is to let you know I hear you. I see you. I feel you. Why? I am the same as you. I am allowing myself to ‘feel the feels’ of COVID-19.

COVID-19 has taught me to reset. Do me 24/7. I am on my schedule, no one else’s schedule. I can do what I want and when I want and how I want. Being an entrepreneur has such privileges. I also decided to draw the line in the same and play full out on Team Deb. I will stay laser focused on my goals and aspirations and drive in my own lane. I like me. I like how I lead. This is coming from my confidence muscle.
