I’m Choosing to Look Up

[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”74890″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]This week while meditating, the word hope continually came into my thoughts. It left me with a feeling of peace that I have not experienced in many years. Now that we are all in the ‘stay at home’ mode, I must say that I have been enjoying this beautiful gift of time. The present is and has always been a gift.

Perception and mindset are always keys to any challenge that life may hand us. We all have those lists of things that we want to do, wish to do, if we only have time. Well you now have that time. Time to create, rest, meditate, cook, bake, ‘be’, ponder, exercise, stretch, read, learn a new hobby, write, draw, paint, this list is endless. It’s a time to allow your passion and creativity to be at a level that is immeasurable. There is no rush, deadline or pressure. Perhaps it’s time to slow down and be a human being, not a human doing.

My hope is that we as a global group of citizens expand together. Family time. Family dinners. Conversations across the tables.

COVID-19 is a gift of resilience. A lesson learned. A time to pause. A return to basics and I am all in.

As Jeremy Camp says in the movie I Still Believe, “Suffering doesn’t destroy faith. It refines it.”

Wishing you a great week ahead. How will you grow?
