Happy Easter & Passover
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Easter and Passover are different for all of us this year. If you could change this in a nanosecond and have all your extended family at your dinner table this evening, it would be happening. We are not with our loved ones.
I choose not to review what is happening in the world as the news feed and media keep us updated 24/7.
I want to offer my sincere condolences to my friends and colleagues who have lost a loved one this week suddenly. It’s not the goodbye you would prefer, and for that, my heart hurts for you.
I have been doing live “Walk & Talk With Me” on Facebook and Instagram now for two weeks in the morning. It’s been a forum for me to discuss all the questions, concerns, and observations I see in my world from both a personal and professional lens. I have found it to be calming to get out in mother nature and breathe. I am talking to many but can’t see anyone. It’s our version of connectivity now.
I’ve been encouraging my family, friends, and clients to “live in the now.” Why? It’s all we have. Tomorrow is not a promised day, and yesterday is gone.
Easter is about the resurrection. It’s about rising. When I started this newsletter three weeks ago, I choose to look up. To grow me, my thoughts, my being. As you enjoy your cup of coffee this morning, pause, breathe, and be thankful. You are at home. You are in isolation and helping the greater good for your country. You are healthy and well—the full presence of today, which is a gift, and for that, we hold space for pure gratitude.
Music warms our soul. I find I have been listening to more genres of music since I have been home. I have intermittent dance parties with myself. I lean in to feel the music and have allowed myself to shed a tear and validate this is indeed our “new”.
One of my beautiful Facebook friends Sharon, messaged me this morning to let me know about this concert today. I invite you to treat yourself and your family at 1 pm EST today. #AndreaBocelli #MusicForHope #StayHome[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_video link=”https://youtu.be/huTUOek4LgU” align=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
